you filled us with frustration _______________
Frustration filled Enver's mind as he stepped out of the shower, reminding himself of what was his job at hand for the day. To much to do lately. If only he could have someone do it for him. His aunt had talked to his teachers the other day concerning the fact that he wasn't at school much. He was close to not graduating. If he didn't get an A on everything he passed in, that would stake his dreams of getting away from life as he knew it. It would end his life. After sitting in a chair, slouched, half asleep, and high, he was told to get back in shape or he would not be aloud any more late nights, meaning his cover and thinking he was safe all this time was just a lie in his head. When his aunt and uncle told him that he couldn't get away with anything meaning anything four years ago, he thought he was smarter than them and tricking was easy. Now, eighteen he knew that they were not lying unless they somehow were able to take a wild guess and guess right.
His hair was dried and he put on a pair of light blue jean skinnies over his green and black plaid boxers. His bleach blond highlights on his side bangs that were scraggly around his face made him look scruffy and tired. His face needed shaving and he needed a hair cut, but that didn't matter. His ice blue eyes made there way around his messy room to a black polo lying on the floor that was clean. Bending down to grab it, the chains around his neck hit his forehead. He put it on over his head. Running a hand through his messy hair to mess it up even more. No one ever complained about it, so he didn't either. If he wanted a haircut he would get one. Enver didn't do anything that he didn't want to do. He was Enver Reed, and the Reed family members were known not to follow others, thus one of the reasons why the family only had two members left. When Enver did a report of his family tree, he found out that mostly every Reed there was had some sort of illness. If it wasn't from insanity to being an druggie. His father was the only normal one. His uncle was too. He was the only normal one left. Grabbing a tight black sweater, Enver walked into the kitchen where he felt as though his aunt and uncle were watching every move he made.
They sat contently at the kitchen table not talking, and both reading something. His sister was on the phone in the other room. He felt bad for his sister, she had to love with them for full time and he wondered to how many phone conversations his aunt and uncle had listen in on. He never knew what to expect now. He was living at his aunt and uncle's house for a week or two while they added a sprinkler system to his apartment. His aunt and uncle had something to do with it so he could stay at home so they could make sure he went to school every day like a good boy. He looked at them through the corner of his eye as he grabbed his black messenger bag, his black apple laptop, his guitar, and his knew skateboard. Walking out of the door, he walked to his tiny black Audi where he put his skateboard and guitar in the trunk and got in. Driving down to the cafe where he was supposed to work on his English paper that was due in a week. Walking into the cafe, it was well packed. He ordered a hazel nut coffee and sat in one of the only empty seats available, which was across from a girl who he couldn't see at all because she sat behind a silver screen and was slouched down reading something. He sat for a moment and drank his coffee.

} Put down the idea that I'm broken
_____________
Seeing as there could be nothing else more unappealing that could fail Effy even more than life was failing on her right now. She just couldn't face the fact that high school sucked. Her dreams of a big collage and a high school romance were just impossible for the most part. What was she thinking when she set her goals? Well, she was a troubled teenager that believed the world was at her toes and no one could stop her but one person who was her mother. Believing she had the world around her finger and being told she could do anything made her plan and plan until she could no longer think and there was nothing left to her mind to accept the fact that people lied, and her mother lied about the fact that Effy could do anything. Effy learned well enough that she had no world to hold in her hand and make her dreams come true. She was trying to face the fact that the worse possible answer from someone was when they told her that her grades were not good enough to get into a high university. She was to average and her father was not ready to ship her back off to England to come home and find out that what she had planned to do with her life was no what she had exactly hoped for.
What Effy hoped for was something that wasn't real unless she was shipped off to the middle of no where and was shunned from society just as she wanted. She looked like your typical high class honor girl when she really was everything but. She hated her social life, high school was shit, and the whole thing about smiling all the time that the honor girls did was a bunch of bull. Getting letters from her mom set her off at a bad start every week, not concentrating on her school work or her surroundings. If someone punched her in the face while she was on an off set mood, she most likely wouldn't fight back or have any reaction. She was sick of her father telling her to see a therapist. All she needed was some way to let her father have full custody over her. That was all she needed. Not ever to see her mother ever again. Even with the secret that she was ready to spill about really wanting to see her someday to tell her how much trouble she is causing Effy right now. She was sick of her bland life. Even with all the drama her mother was causing, her sister was never home, her father was never home, and she was always sitting alone watching TV or getting ahead on her homework. Even with getting ahead, they were getting worse because she started to add her opinion in every once in a while, which her teachers didnt expect.
Her idea about a letter was something that she couldn't pass up anymore. This morning she woke up at five and got out of the house as fast as she could. The cafe was always open no matter what, plus coffee and tea were the one things she liked. She slid on a button up white and light blue lacy dress over her tiny body that had not one ounce of fat on it. Her dress went down a little bit above her knee. Her black heals made there way over her toes and to complete her outfit she slipped on a black over coat, which landed her at the cafe with hot tea in one hand the her bag on the side of her chair. The black over coat clung around the back of her chair. Her car was parked at home seeing as she walked to the cafe like she did every morning before school. She got up each and every morning just as the mail came to see what it was. Once she got it, she would stride off to the cafe where she would look through it with a glass of tea. Her books sat on the left side of her chair and she sat there every day with no one across her to bother her. She usually left just as the morning rush of workers came for there coffee. But today was different. It was nine o'clock on Saturday and she was writing her letter to her mom. Hearing someone pull out the chair on the other side of the table she put the screen down on her laptop and gave him a look. "Can I help you?" She asked him in a thick English accent with an irritated tone.

You could have fooled anyone _______________
Enver didn't know if it was the taunting tone that the girl presented herself with or the way that she was so full of herself when she spoke that he feared. Then again, he didn't know if it was the colour that her eyes reflected or the hair that wrapped around her face that made him speechless. She was different, which amazed him how much he thought she was pretty. He couldn't tell if she was dangerous or just didn't feel like taking any crap from anyone. That didn't matter. The look that she gave him made him speechless enough. She was not his type, but that didn't stop him from thinking that she was utterly perfect in every way that made one of his eye brows raise up and his tone went to over pride her back. She made him look like crap. She belonged with the high class preps while he belonged with the rich druggies that wasted there parents money on drugs. Normally Enver was ready for anything anyone said to him, but feeling as he had done nothing wrong and there were no seats around, he was not expecting what she had said, and Enver always expected the unexpected from people. He leaned back in his chair and took a sip of his coffee and looked around to see if anyone had heard her. It wasn't like it was quiet in here, just he didn't want any one to hear what she said.
"Um, have you looked around the place?" He asked sharply. "I need to work just as bad as you do, so that is what I am doing. I do not need anything from you." He told her with a tone that was on edge. To him, his work had his life on the line and he had the right to be here just as much as she did. He eyed her coolly and leaned forward to set his coffee on the table. He took out his tiny black laptop and set it on his lap, but continued to stare back at her, there eyes meeting. The want to be stoned at the moment was getting higher and higher as he sat uncomfortably. He had come to a point in his life where he depended on being stoned for everything. It made everything less disappointing and easier to take in. If he hadn't been stoned for when he was called in with his aunt and uncle, he most likely would of broke down and started crying. But, he didn't take in half of what they were saying but the major points because they repeated them a million times to him. Over and over they went. If there wasn't a thing that Enver hated more, it was people repeating themselves to him. While they were talking he was thinking about ways to stake them right in the heart to make them shut up.
He didn't do that a lot. It was one of the reasons why he usually didn't go to school. He expected himself to snap in front of everyone, only he never did. He just thought he would. He just didn't like people that much. They all sucked and no one was ever nice to him. Well, mostly because he wasn't very nice back and tended to be on the sarcastic side when people said something to him. If he did come to school he was usually high or had a hangover or something. He didn't drink much, but when he did it was bad. You knew it was bad when he sank so low as to get drunk, and it usually was with some girl that he didn't know. Yeah, smart right. Most of the time Enver acted stupid, did stupid things, got in trouble, so everyone was surprised when they found out that Enver was a really smart kid and had a lot going for him, only he wanted to blow it off and just become a professional skateboarder. He had all the money he ever needed, so school was just no part of his plans. He was a good looking guy, why not? People asked what the hell was he thinking when he set that as his goals except for his friends who knew how good he really was. If you saw the boy skate, you would wonder why he wasn't already famous for doing what he did best.

} the idea that your not real _____________
She eyed him coolly. Her lips straightening to a perfect line. She looked down at her laptop keys and sighed, her eyes looked tired as her movements were sharp, but they still showed that she was on the tired side. Everything for her was not working together and it showed for some reason even while she always tried not to let her past effect her at all. It all used up way to much of her energy. A lot of things used a lot of her energy. She just had to face it that life officially sucked and right now was an example of a reason why it sucked. She didn't regret the way her tone was set when she spoke to him, because when he spoke back it was just as bad. Well, only because he was going to defend himself back. Most guys didn't even bother to talk back to her. It was all because of some reason they saw her and just wanted to get in her pants instead of making mean faces back at her. That did not impress her one bit. Not much impressed her these days. In the state of mind she had at the moment, someone could crash out of the sky for her and she wouldn't pay any attention to what was going on around her.
Her head turned and they viewed the place. She shrugged with her eyebrows furrowed together as he spoke back to her. "Yes well, you could move somewhere else seeing as I am bothering you." She told him and leaned forward in her seat so she could lower her voice. "And your coffee smells bad." She added sharply and put her screen back like she was blocking him out of her view, even though because he was there she could not concentrate on what the hell she was doing. Instead, her mind was going through hell trying to get out the horrifying idea that there was part of her that found him attractive. She shouldn't think that at all. It surprised her mind completely and she ready to shut it down. She finished the rest of her tea as she started to go back to typing, well tried to at least, but only got a few words typed before she gave up and went to get another tea. She looked at him while she closed the screen of her computer.
Her tiny body walked passed by him, rubbing against him slightly as she manage to get through the crowded ally way of the cafe. She knew that she should of sat in a booth today. It was just that no one ever bothered her, ever. But, it was past the hour that she would usually stay to. Her heals clicked the ground as she walked and ordered another drink and a plate of fries. Which she found odd at a cafe, but they had lunch everyday as well. Walking back to the table, her straight hair danced around the edges of her face. She still eyed him as she took a seat. "Want one?" She asked him and put them in the middle of the table. Being her anorexia self, Effy wasn't even able to eat a whole thing of small fries. She was never really that hungry. She was always just right. "Sorry about, well snapping before. You caught me at a bad time." She said to him angry that she was defeated. She took a one of the french fries, dipped it in ketchup, and took a small bite of it. It burnt her tongue at first, but then cooled off like her temper. She didn't like to cave in, but there was something in the way he stared right back into her eyes that told her he wasn't afraid and she couldn't scare him, so there was no way she could win the battle.

we handed up the lucky ones _______________
The strikes back the second time weren't as nearly painful as they were the first time she opened her mouth. In his mind, she should of just kept it shut then there would of never been a problem in the first place, but then he would of never noticed the way her noticed her when she spoke. Then again, the way the boy sitting at the table besides them was staring at her made Enver notice other things as well. Like the way the light reflected off her cheek bone to make her skin look like ivory. Her eye makeup made her light blue eyes look like glass. Yes, there was a point to Enver were when he got obsessed with something he was a little over observant towards things. Enver noticed a lot of things, but never like this before. Her constant beauty made him aw struck. Once noticing the guy sitting at the table next to them, he couldn't help but give him a 'hands off' look and the kid turned his eyes back to the paper that was set in front of him, but not without giving him a look like 'how did you get there before i did' which hurt Enver, but brushed it off.
When she leaned in, so did he, feeling her cool breath slide against his face making a cold sweat run down his back. A smile spread across his face, but it wasn't a grin. He didn't mean it. "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." He said calmly when she commented about his coffee smelling bad. Then he straightened back up, unhappy that moment was over for now. He went back for what he needed to do for now. He took out his book for school. The book, 1984, which he had read four times already, but was asked that his paper was on that book for the third time. A good book, but it got less intense reading it four times. One more time he would burn it like all the other books he had to read for school that had no lasting impression on himself. His parents always told him that he should work for the government or something. He was smart enough, there was just way not enough craziness involved to that thinking of a job. His parents and teachers just thought that right now he was wasting his life with skateboarding it away. They didn't even bother to bring up the drugs.
His eyes met hers as she stood up and followed them as she passed him, brushing up against him lightly. His heart dropped to the floor as her tiny body passed by him. Surprised when she came back and offered him one of the french fries. He raised a brow at her for the sudden change in her tone and attitude, so he could be a little less sharp at her as well. "Sure." He smiled, taking a french fry and popping it into his mouth, burning it slightly, but not enough to make him scream or spit it out, something embarrassing like that always seemed to happen to him. The collar to his shirt straightened up around his neck, pressed his to jawbone slightly. His eyes widened at her apology. It was unexpected and well, forgiven. "Hey, I can snap back." He told her with a small shrug of his shoulders. A smile spread across his face slowly as she spoke, leaning back into his chair. "You can call me Enver if you want to?" He told her while he put his book back into his bag.

} change to you is no more than a new lie
_____________
Effy found that there was no point in fighting back with people anymore. She could win, but they always let her win. So, she decided that a defeat was easier than being let down and shunned upon. It was easier and then she didn't use up all of her bad quotes on one person and she didn't have to think of sharp answers back for hours and hours because everyone knew that she could go on for hours and hours at a time. She was stubborn, but shy if you didn't want to talk to her she wouldn't talk to you. Then again, if someone was bothering her she wasn't afraid to tell them to fuck of and leave her alone. It was simple. She used her power of voice when she needed it and not all the time so she didn't sound like a total bitch by everyone. Her mother was the one that told her keep her mouth shut as much as she could. Effy always wanted to know why, but she knew it was just because her mother never wanted to be bothered with her hangover and Effy's high pitched voice. Her home was usually always silent once they moved.
She looked right into his eyes when he spoke to her, his words making her more angry. Her mind was ready to explode. Closing the computer against his face was something that she wouldn't mind. The only way to get him out of her head was to ignore him, but his face was something that no one could ignore. He looked like the type of person that was always having fun, a person that could show her how to have fun without worrying what was going on around her. That would be something she would pay to see. She would kill for some fun instead of her boring life with school at the top of her list because there was nothing else to do, but go to school. There was nothing wrong about that to her father and her teachers, but to her it was driving her insane. Of course it was better than someone telling her that he should see someone about what she was doing in life all the time. She was able to at least zone out in class, unlike now. There was no zoning out because for one time in her life, she didn't want to zone out.
She usually didn't mind to lock eyes with someone, but he made her self conscious. She didn't want to look into his eyes because each time she did, she could feel the heat rising to her face making her blush, but she could do it for a short amount of time or else she would really blush. She didn't want to show that because it would make her look week for some reason. At least she thought it would. Being week was a bad thing, and Effy was not a week person even after had gone through the seventeen years she had. She smiled at him when he spoke. Not like a half smile, like a teeth and all sort of smile, like she was really smiling. The small dimples in her cheeks showing with her high cheek bones. She closed her computer and moved it into his bag as he moved his book. She took one of the french fries and took a bite out of it. "Alright, Enver, then you can call me.." She paused for a moment as if she was thinking of her name for a moment. "Effy."

now we're in this way to far _______________
There was this weird sense in his body that felt like there was something about this girl that wasn't like many other girls. He wasn't one to say what it was that made her seem so different, but the thought was there and remained there since the first time she lifted her head. The feeling that he got when she looked right into his eyes with her piercing blue eyes gave him goosebumps and it sent his heart into over drive trying to retain himself from not blushing, one of the hardest things he had to do lately. Enver wasn't the best about controling his emotions, but he tried his very best to put on a face and usually he could and he was able to at least look calm in the most crazy moments of his life, but right here and right now wasn't crazy he was just not well, Enver at the moment. Well, he was. It was his body and his mind he was just thinking about other things. His mind always tended to wonder even though right now he almost felt trapped in a way. But, then again it wasn't like it was a bad trapped. He wanted to be trapped with her.
The laptop against his face, which he probably deserved to say the least, was a tiny bit not expected to say the least. Getting yelled back at was something that he was used to and expected, but he didn't figure she was mature enough as to ignor him completely like that by slamming it on his face, not being careful as to if it was going to hit him, which it slightly did. Not a full smash with a red mark and all, but it still hurt his feelings in a way. Enver wasn't the most emotionally intact person as it was seeing his background of abusive mother in a way who didn't care if he was in jail or in the hospital as long as he was out of her house so she could 'live her life' as she would put it to the young teenager who was just learning about life and unofrtunetly he was learning his life off of drugs, booze, anger, and hate. Getting hurt was just something to waste time that wasn't spent in school it seemed like. Looking back after all those years, Enver did envy all those school boys and girls who he wasn't a fan of and made fun of, but they were right.
It wasn't that they were always right, it was just that in a way as much as him and hid friends made fun of the nerdy kids who always went to school with there mothers picking them up, he was jealous. He wanted that in a way. Most people wanted what they didn't have, but the feeling of not having any parents and watching the kids in his grade running to say hello to there mothers or father while he sat and smoked a cigarette was not the best feeling in a way. He was surprised that it wasn't the other way around when it came to teasing, but then again those kids were always to mature to talk back to someone like him. He understood. His mind came back to the present as she spoke. Taking in everything she said and making room for it in his mind so he never forgot it."Thats a cool name." He said to her as he looked down at the table and then his light blue eyes finding there way back up to hers. "So, do you go to Brookhaven, or are you the person who goes to privite schools only." He said to her with a teasing smile. She did seem to be that kind of person, then again there was that feeling like there was a whole other side to her that he just didn't want to give up on.

yeah, we were so afraid __________________
The days when there was no problems to hold her down tied to the earth as it felt, there was no gravity. Like she was meant to have those problems that were never supposed to leave her and without them she would have no purpose. Just light enough to be able to get lifted off the ground and fly towards the sky. Lifeless and unrealistic, but the thought was always in her mind, so when there would be no gravity left on the earth it would all work out for her. Life never made sense to her nor did it seem pretty pointless to the point where there were those zoning out days. As much as she didn't seem like a druggie, seeming more like your typical anorexia model girl who thought drugs were stupid, but in reality she used to live off of it. Not just something like weed, but things like meth, crank, crack, ice. Whatever was really there it was in hr body, pockets empty. People tended to not believe that side of her being as quiet as she was. Life as she knew it was never the same as the day she turned into her teenage years.
At least it never felt the same. With deaths and mistaken identities, changing was necessary and never turning back was something not to look forward too. It wasn't like Effy went with the crowd, she just did things that everyone else did not to be left out cold. Not to be the cool new girl in school, even though she was never thought like that, more like the druggie girl who was never not high. She changed like she thought she wouldn't. She refocused at the task at hand. Her thoughts, slipping back into place. She smiled at his comment. "Thanks. Your name is pretty cool too. My mother always told me that I would thank her for my name someday whenever I complained about it." She said to him as she crossed her legs. Her smiled turned into a frown when he teased her. "No, I go to Brookhaven. I'm a junior and moved here when I turned like twelve from the UK. Not my favorite choice that my parents made." She said running a hand through her thick brown hair.

and i watched you go _______________
There was nothing harder than leaving someone. If it happened to be by death or by just going away by force or by choice. It was something that didn't go well in his mind. He found death better because it wasn't always by choice. It just happened and you had to except it, but leaving was something that he thought he could stop, or make not happen. He was a day dreamer and thought of a lot of things, that was always one of them. Things were always hard. Of course drugs always made it less hard than it really was. Putting everything to a minimum. It wasn't like during those times he took in information besides the fact where he was and what he was doing was something he didn't want to do anymore, like how people always thought he wasn't doing what he wanted to do. He didn't ever put that mind into thought. Someone making him do what he loved most, skateboarding? When he was younger, he wasn't aloud too. There really wasn't anyone that wanted him to do it, more like stop skateboarding than being forced. It wasn't a thing he went through for him that most kids went through because Enver had been skating since a little boy.
He leaned forward in his chair as she spoke. A small smile standing still on his face as she did, drinking in her eyes. "Is that so? I never really listened to my mother until I was happy with the fact that she was in jail" A pang hit his heart as he spoke about his mother. He got over her. He wasn't sad that she was in jail, because he put her in there, he just got a feeling of hurt in his chest. One mixed with anger were he felt as though he would smash something, but contained himself. Mhhmm. I moved here from Canada when my father died in the UK where I was born and my sister came down and we lived with my aunt and uncle, but I am a senior and don't live with them anymore." He said calmly, running a hand through his hair when done speaking. Being ten o'clock in the morning, the atmosphere was pretty lame here, and was dulling him slightly as his head stared at the ceiling for a moment. "Do you want to get out of here, or like go do something with me for the rest of the day?" He asked, his head turning back to look at her expression when he spoke the question, not so sure what he reaction was going to be.

i was losing myself to somebody else __________________
Loosing herself to the one thing that she hated most of all was a scary thought. She always found loosing herself worse than loosing someone else in her family. There was always this thought where she was not intune with her family. Dinners were always quiet when she did have them with her father and sister. She didn't know why her father just didn't start dating again. It was that one thing that was bothering her that she wanted him to start so she wouldn't get mad at him when she came back from collage or something. She expected the expected and didn't usually ever expect the unexpected and didn't like it or change that much. Everything always hurt. She was only human and went by human rules. Be sad when expected, be happy when expected, and love when wanted it in return. That robotic lifestyle never really worked out that well for her as she had lived through it since her brother died. She was never the same and always seemed to be a little bit more on that side of the loss of emotion in the mind.
It never crossed her mind once how much she could love someone else back. Forgetting that feeling inside that made her want to turn away, like he knew it just as much as she did. It was the same feeling as when you felt as though your heart was beating so hard because you were scared that the thought was there that everyone else could here it. "Really? I don't talk to my mom either, which is why I am here. Writing her a letter explaining how she can't see me ever again even though she hasn't in a long time." She said. Hate was a strong word, but in this case she was able to use it fine. "Ahh. That's cool. I always wanted to go back home, though." She answered as she looked down at her hands, but then looked at him thinking she had misunderstood him when he spoke. That was a question that Effy didn't get asked daily, even with her good looks. "Sure. What were you planning on doing?" She asked as she ran a hand through her wild hair.

lets sail away _______________
He knew that by spending every antagonizing minute with this girl was a growing obbsession in his tiny brain that he would be able to no longer handle until his eyes met hers again, so there was no hit an runs this time. Not one that his body and mind would let him do to grip him to his very own insanity called life. And that poem about his so called life would now be about the colour of her glass hair and how soft his hair was as he ran his fingers through it. It would not be an easy thing just to sit back and take in detail because his mind already traced every detail, all he needed to do was get his hands on the details so that they would be his details, for no one else to ever touch. Like he was going to lock her in a glass jar and put her away for ever unless he wanted something to look at time to time and no one else could spoil there eyes. Only him, and he would be a very, very spoiled little boy. Just like one with a rich mother in a large candy shop.
[color=FFE785]"Wow. I just locked my mom up in jail so that I would never have to see her again. It was my thearpy."
Spilling secrets was never a true sign of love, but being open sure did make him want to slap the side of his face seeing as she could really be that one person to ruin his life and go run off with the petty little secrets she stole with her eyes. "I really haven't had the pleasure yet to think about that. I am happy just were I am in my life, at least I have a free leash from home." Which was on a choke hold and there still was his sister's own well being that he always put into consideration, another not in the rope. "I'm not sure." He wanted to smoke weed and get high with the girl, but that wasn't going to happen just yet. She looked like the type that never smoked a joint in his life, there he went stereotyping people. "We could go for a walk?" He said out od spite the city wasn't that pretty and empty.
